Hello friends!
As I mentioned in my last post, I’m going to be posting different things with my blog!
Since it’s close to the start of summer, I feel like people read a lot more when they are relaxing outside in the beautiful weather. Here are some of my favourites that I enjoy reading during some downtime!
I have so many favourites books but I narrowed it down to 5, just to make it simple! These are easy reads, motivational, poetry and compilations of letters. I have cherished each one of these ever since I held them in the book store.
The wonderfully written, adorable and oh so relatable Almost Adulting by Arden Rose!
I cannot explain to anyone how much I LOVE this book. Let’s just point out that I read it in probably 5 hours because I literally could not put it down. It made me laugh, it gave some advice, inspiration and pure joy throughout the entire book. Let alone the artwork is absolutely adorable, who wouldn’t want to pick it up and love it?
The beautiful compliation of letters, This Modern Love by Will Darbyshire
Will created this book from letters, art and stories that people have shared. I think this is such an interesting idea and such a great, simple read. This book is filled with love, laughter, heartbreak and memories that people have created. I love this concept so much which makes me love this book a whole lot!
The famous, aesthetically pleasing collection of poetry, Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur
This book is powerful and beautifully written and I am so full of love for it. She created 4 different sections, the hurting, the loving, the breaking and the healing. I had so many emotions while reading it and it takes someone very strong to share stories like the ones she did. Highly recommend reading this one!
If you’re looking for self-love, inspiration and motivation… You Are a Badass by Jenn Sincero is one to read!
I love her writing style, the motivation and inspiration she shares. I understand that self-love and the way you think has a lot to do with yourself and your wellbeing but she definitely encouraged some of that for me! Wonderful read.
This last one is an easy read and a fiction novel, Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon
I finished this novel in a few hours, it’s a good size and a light and entertaining read. It’s so cute, her writing is simple and something to remember! I loved this book from start to finish and would highly recommend reading it.
Those are my favourite 5 right now and I would love to hear from you and what your favourite books are and some recommendations! Comment down below or on my Facebook page!
I loved reading milk and honey, I think I might re-read it after seeing this haha x

Asking questions are really fastidious thing if you are not understanding anything totally, but this article presents pleasant understanding even.
