So this post is brought to you by something that I believe I was meant to see… And something I hope you can benefit from too!
Lately, I haven’t been feeling well from a bad cold then hoping it won’t worsen into an episode. Anyways, I went into into work and I saw a little note that said,
You’re stronger than you think.
I’m not sure where this note was from, since it wasn’t handwritten but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It gave me some peace in knowing and understanding that some days I won’t feel good, but that doesn’t determine my strength to get through them. This includes when I’m sick, in an episode or just days that don’t go my way.
I think we all fail to recognize the strength we have and what we are capable of, rather than seeing what we have accomplished even on days that aren’t the greatest. Everyone has difficulties and situations that they have to face everyday, so you’re not alone in that aspect. We need to understand that we are capable of so much, even when our doubts get to us and our days aren’t our brightest.
At the end of the day we need to give ourselves more credit on what we have accomplished, big or small. We did it and we got through the day from the courage and strength we have. It’s so easy to allow negative energy fill our minds, but we need to remember that we are stronger than we think. And we have the power to change that negative energy into something beneficial!
Here’s to showing appreciation for yourself, you deserve it!
