OK wow, it’s been a month since I’ve last posted and everything just kind of flew by! I say that every year though so it’s really no surprise. How have you been?! Are you excited for the holidays?! What do you have planned? Are you going anywhere warm, (or cold… if you’re already from somewhere warm)?! So many questions… Let’s chat in the comments!
It’s the time of year for university students…finals. And I could not be any less excited about exams but there could be worse things, right? I just wrote my physiology exam and I’m at the point where I don’t want to think about it, I’m sure I did good but I have 2 more exams to write. I am SO ready for the holidays, to take a break from school, to work and write on here. This is getting repetitive of me saying “I’m going to write more, I promise!” but lately I have had my creative juices flowing and I can’t wait to sit down somewhere with a nice warm drink and let my thoughts spill out. My posts always come in spurts and I actually have a list on my computer of things to write about. So many things happening, so much stuff to share and I’m ready for it!
Hmmm what else have I been doing… I went to Edmonton with my good friend Jenny and my lovely mom in November. That was a much needed 3-day getaway and we all had a great time! What else… school, studying and work, the usual. I started my Christmas shopping and I’m pretty excited about that too! I’ve been watching Christmas movies whenever I can (The Holiday is so cute if you’re looking for a rom-com), listening to podcasts and watching vlogs. Haha you can tell I don’t want to study at all.
I just love this time of year. I love the snow (when it’s not -40 outside), I love being wrapped up in layers of clothes, or blankets if I’m at home. I love the lights and Christmas music, the winter-y drinks and everyone being so happy. It’s just a very cozy and welcoming time of year and I am all about that. What’s your favourite part about this season?!
Anyways, I thought I would write a chatty post to let you know I haven’t abandoned my blog! I hope you’re doing well, I hope you enjoy your holidays if you have any (I hope you do, you deserve it) and if you’re writing exams, I wish you the best of luck! I was once told that stress can prepare you to succeed, you just have to make it your friend. So don’t worry, you got this!
Here’s to happiness and warmth (and good grades),
